I have already filled almost five shelves worth of books and it has been taking a lot of space that I know I will have to find a way to still satiate my reading and free up some of my precious room space.

It has been a blast too with the Kindle because I can easily find thousands of titles at the Kindle Store by just connecting to the internet and downloading them directly. Here’s one site that I use regularly to download ebooks for Kindle.

The Kindle has an interesting Whispernet feature that sends you the books and to all your other devices that have the Kindle application installed.

One thing that I noticed – it burnt a bit of a hole in my pocket as constantly downloading new titles can get quite costly as it is priced anywhere from $5.00 to $20.00, depending on the title.

Places To Download Ebooks For Kindle:

1. Amazon Store

I think I did mention previously that you can download ebooks for Kindle for free in the Kindle store itself!

There are tons of classics such as Alice in Wonderland, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The Complete Works of Edgar Allan Poe, Pride and Prejudice and even in the Holy Bible that I have been able to get for free.

Most of these books have been converted to the Kindle-friendly version which makes reading it through the device a breeze.

There are many well-loved classics and also books for kids such as fairy tales that are being given away for free just and can be accessed by using my Amazon account connected that is connected to my Kindle device.  Pretty neat if you want to download ebooks for Kindle!

Aside from ebooks, Amazon’s Audible.com also allows you to download audio files of books read by famous actors that you can listen to.  By signing up, you can get two free titles that you can download and copy to your Kindle.

2. Free Kindle Ebook Repositories

I have found many different sites that such as manybooks.com that offer free titles as well.  I have been reading all these free classic books that I have downloaded and I have not spent a single cent yet again on paid books from Amazon.

But I must admit that there is no way you can download the latest novels, audio books and stuff from these free ebook sites.

And that brings me to my favorite place for Kindle ebooks.

3. Kindle Ebook Membership Site

There is a membership site that offers unlimited Kindle ebooks. I have been using it personally for a few months now and it was recommended to me by my close friend.

So far, other than Amazon, it has the largest database of ebooks for Kindle. It’s practically a search engine for books. You will be able to find novels, audio books, magazines, comics and even textbooks of all genres here. There is not a single Kindle ebook that you cannot find.

Another cool feature as it has a built-in PDF reader is that I have also been able to download ebooks for Kindle in the form of PDF documents and copy it to my device by connecting it to my laptop.

It is such an awesome experience as I can still get my book fix even if I am not reading.  Better grab yourself a Kindle and download ebooks for Kindle today – you will never experience reading books the same way again.

The electronic ink on the Kindle made it look like it is still printed on paper and the device is pretty much lightweight so holding it for longer periods of time did not strain my hands at all.

Also, the Whispernet feature of the Kindle is one thing that I loved about it as it makes all my books available not only on my Kindle reading device but as well as my other devices such as my Blackberry and the laptop.  It also syncs to the last page I have read on the book so that it is updated on my mobile phone and computer as well.  Very cool!

One thing that I hate about the Kindle device – it is very easy to purchase books and I have to pay about $50.00 a month for the ten or so books I buy.  I have recently discovered a wonderful thing however – I can download ebooks for Kindle for free on the Amazon store itself!

They were offering a bunch of classic titles like Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, The Man Who Would be King by Rudyard Kipling as well as different Star Wars novels!  I was amazed by the collection of free books that I can read on my Kindle!

There is also a top 100 list that serves as a recommendation if you want to download ebooks for Kindle.  This just goes to show that there are a lot of free downloadable books via the Kindle store.  You can also use PDF documents and read them in your Kindle device which can also expand your library as well.  I have been reading some of my work documents via my Kindle as well and I can easily copy it on my work laptop whenever I need it through the USB connection.

If you want more books aside from downloading through the Amazon store, you can also check the online repositories such as manybooks.com to download ebooks for Kindle.  There are thousands of books and literature that you can get from these sites so that you will not have to spend another dollar again if you wish.

But I have to warn you first that many of the ebooks are classics and you probably won't be able to find any of the latest novels, audio books and so on for your Kindle. If you really want to download the latest ebooks, you got to try out this site for Kindle ebooks.

I have not charged anything on my store account after finding out about this!  The Kindle can also double up as a music player so I can read while listening to my favorite music.  It is really great.  You should check it out and download ebooks for Kindle – have fun reading!

I have been using my Amazon.com account to purchase books on the store and it has cost me quite a bit of money every month, but after finding out that there are free Kindle book downloads on the store itself, my wallet have breathed a sigh of relief!  There are hundreds of free books on the store from classic titles such as Alexandre Dumas’ The Man in the Iron Mask, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, Sir Conan Arthur Doyle’s The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes to science fiction novels like Star Wars and fairy tales for kids.

The wide variety of free books that I can own and read legally is simply amazing.  I now use my free time to read whenever I can because it is pretty convenient to do so on my laptop and mobile phone.

With the Kindle book downloads, I can also use the Whispernet sync technology of the application so that I can read from my laptop and bookmark it, and when I am out, I can resume reading on my Blackberry and continue from where I have left off.

It is really amazing!  No need to remember which page I have stopped reading on as the device can do it for you and sync it to your other electronic equipment through the use of the internet.

Because the Kindle application can also read PDF documents, I can have Kindle book downloads as well as PDF format books from other sites.  Now my library of books is massive – from the hundreds free on Amazon, I have expanded it to the many PDF documents that I can also download for free on manybooks.com and other repositories.

Now I do not have to purchase books as I have a lot that can keep me entertained for many days – or even years to come.  Books are amazing companions and now with Amazon’s technology, having Kindle book downloads can make you a voracious reader without spending a cent!

I love reading because of my curiosity about this world we live in and thirst for knowledge. So whether it is novels, audio books, magazines, comic books and even textbooks, yes, you read it right...I even download textbooks online.
